There are few things in life more satisfying than finding a way to make your life less stressful, less messy or less difficult. I've put together a lovely little list of items that will make your life as a mom (or dad!) easier.
Mother’s Day is coming in hot (it’s May 9, but we’re sure you already knew that) and if you’re still trying to find that unique, sentimental little something for mom you should definitely give Amazon Handmade a visit.
And this year, it will be harder for us to celebrate them. Normally, there would be meals and gatherings and gifts. This year there will be phone calls and facetimes and possibly a socially-distanced visit.
This Saturday is the Amway Riverbank Run. Sunday is Mother’s Day! Along with that, we have the Tulip Festival, West Michigan Whitecaps baseball, food trucks, Alice in Wonderland, Star Wars, comedy, a nature walk, and bonsai trees.
Tulip Time continues in Holland, we will have a gathering of Food Trucks in two different locations, there will be Baseball Games, The Symphony will perform, it’s the Fifth Third River Bank Run, there are tiny trees, two events at dog parks, and the biggest event -- Mother’s Day on Sunday.
If movies and TV have taught us anything, it's that all mothers are NOT created equal. While some fictional moms might be willing to play the doting matriarch, others engage in twisted mind games, dole out severe corporal punishment and even commit murder most foul. Think about that the next time you forget to call your mom on Mother's Day.
