Store Closings

A new report sheds light on the store's plan to close locations by the end of January.

Big Lots, the discount retail chain, is closing 300 stores nationwide, impacting Michigan with 11 closures.

The closures continue for a West Michigan discount store chain.

For a while there it looked like some Bed Bath & Beyond stores in Michigan MIGHT remain open... now we know that's not the case.

Foot Locker has announced the closure of hundreds of its brick-and-mortar stores in North America.

Ironically, some of the locations still have "grand opening" signs on their buildings.

The affected stores will be disclosed in October.

They say they'll be closing a "significant number" of Justice stores and a "select number" of Ann Taylor, LOFT, & Lane Bryant stores.

Michigan has the most store closures out of any other state.

The CEO says to expect even more closures over the next couple of years.

The closures will occur over the next three years.

Six stores in Michigan will be affected by Pier 1's closures.
