Uber drivers are some of the most unsung heroes of our world. They're always there, ready to pick you up whether you have your life together, or you're just falling apart after a few drinks out.

No matter the reason, they're only an app tap away ready to give you a ride, and they're especially helpful when you're going to a concert or event with limited parking, so that's exactly why artist Gashi recently brought his uber driver on stage during his appearance at Grand Rapid's Breakaway Festival.

And yes, I know that Breakaway happened two months ago, but for some reason Gashi didn't post this video until this week, so we're only learning about the legendary Uber driver known as Ted.

@gashiComment so I can make more videos with Uber Ted♬ original sound - Gashi

Gashi starts the video introducing his uber driver, Ted, who was really nice

and if you look closely in the background of the video, you can see a few peaks of Downtown Grand Rapids through Ted's windshield

Ted gives Gashi a ride to Breakaway Festival, then offers him the chance to join him on stage.

Ted of COURSE takes him up on it, and they make their way backstage

Then the moment comes- Ted has an entire crowd shouting his name, because why not.

But really the best part of the entire video is the dead end, when Ted is giving Gashi a ride away from the festival, and says how much he appreciates the experience.

Ted says "You treated me like a king, and I'm just an uber driver". Then, Ted goes on to say "You made me feel like the most important person at the whole event"

And don't worry- the comments passed the vibe check, with one saying "This is how you get a 5 star rating!"

So, three cheers for Ted and Gashi, because our uber drivers deserve way more credit for getting us everywhere safely, and it's nice to see one get their moment to shine.
