The Detroit Lions are officially adding a cheerleading squad to their team roster for the 2017 season.  The Lions are one of seven teams who didn't officially have a cheerleading squad.  (The other six teams are Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears, Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, New York Giants, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.)  The Lions have had an unofficial cheer squad since 2010, but The Detroit Pride Cheerleaders were not allowed to wear a Lions logo.

So, if you'd ever wanted to put on blue and silver and go nuts for the Lions, now is your chance!  The auditions will be taking place at Ford Field on June 25th at 8am.  The tryouts are not open to the public so you'll need to register before you can compete for a spot on the squad.  Click the button below to find out more and to sign up!
