Today is the last day to register to vote in this year’s midterm election!

Registering to vote is easy. So easy, that you might already be registered and not even know it!  So, first things first…  Let’s see if you are registered!

Already registered?  Awesome!  Now just head to the precinct assigned to you on November 6th, and cast your ballot!

Not registered?  Don’t worry!  It’s easy to register!

How To Register Online

How To Register By Mail

  1. Get the voter registration form
    1. You can print out the form here
    2. You can acquire a form from your local Secretary of State, your local county, city or township clerk’s office, or military recruitment centers
  2. Fill out the form
    1. You’ll need to be 18 years or older by November 8th
    2. You’ll need a Michigan driver’s license, personal ID number and the last 4 digits of your social security number.
    3. If you don’t meet the requirements above (B), you’ll need to provide one of the following:  Current photo ID, Paycheck stub, Utility bill, Bank statement, or Government document with your name and address
  3. Send in the form
    1. Mail the completed form and any other needed material to your city or township clerk (it needs to be postmarked by October 9th)

How To Register In Person

  1. Get the voter registration form
