Tomorrow (Monday) Is Free Egg McMuffin Day at McDonald’s

Mondays usually suck, so this news should make tomorrow a real good day.

According to WZZM, McDonald's will be offering free egg McMuffins from 6 am to 10:30 am, Monday, March 2nd.

The reason for this free breakfast item makes it even tastier to me, because of the pettiness that is going into the freebie. If you listen to the McDonald’s representatives they have a really great thing about the egg McMuffin being 50 years old and finally having its own day, as shared with WZZM,

“While we’re giving the Egg McMuffin its moment, we’re really honoring our breakfast fans who have woken up with McDonald’s breakfast for nearly 50 years. And we just thought, ‘hey, why not declare March 2 as National Egg McMuffin Day?’,” said David Tovar, Vice President of U.S. Communications. “We’re always looking for new ways to show our fans love and remind them, no matter where they might be, a great-tasting and convenient breakfast is just around the corner for them at McDonald’s.”

The real reason though is because Wendy’s is starting to serve breakfast at all their locations, starting March 2, from 6 AM to 10 AM.  McDonald's is trying to win this AM popularity contest with free food... and as a fat guy, that’s the quickest way to my loyalty.

The free McDonald’s Egg McMuffin is only available Monday, March 2, "Egg McMuffin Day".  You've got to order the sandwich on the  McDonald's App, you can redeem at any McDonald's between 6 am and 10:30 am, WZZM reports.
