Traffic Light Out At Entrance Of East Kentwood High Until Wednesday

Heads up if you have to drive Kalamazoo Ave. and pass by the entrance to East Kentwood High School, the traffic light is out and has to be used as a four-way stop.

According to Fox 17, the Kent County Road Commission sent out a notice that the traffic light on Kalamazoo Ave. at the intersection of Eastport Dr. & Auditorium Dr. was damaged and is inoperable.

UPDATE:  Kent County Road Commission had hoped to have the stoplight fixed by Monday afternoon, but it looks like this intersection will remain a 4-way stop until Wednesday, so you'll definitely want to avoid this area if you don't have to go the East Kentwood High.
