Vintage Hockey Gear Turned Into Leather Goods

If you like hockey and you like leather goods, a local company is turning old gear into new products.

According to WZZM, a company in West Michigan called Second String Leather Company makes one of a kind leather goods out of old used hockey gear.

The company is based out of Grand Rapids, and they make beautiful hand crafted leather products and hope to get your business on Cyber Monday.

The owners of Second String Leather Company, Joe Messina and Zac Smith who are both hockey coaches, can turn your old goalie gear in shaving kits bags, wallets, key chains, tote bags and more out of the re-purposed hockey gear. Apparently there is a growing demand for the products.

It is pretty amazing what these guys can do with the re-purposed leather from old hockey gear. With a slogan like "Crafted From the Crease", how can you go wrong.
