West Michigan Beer Connoisseurs Spot Three Floyds Zombie Dust On Store Shelves

Back in May one of the world's top breweries, Three Floyds Brewing of Munster Indiana, announced they would begin distributing their beers to Michiganders. After rolling out on taps at bars and restaurants first, the beers are finally finding their way to West Michigan store shelves.

The beer was found by local reddit user u/DavidRandom and posted in the Grand Rapids forum that they had found the highly rated 'Zombie Dust' beer at the East Beltline Meijer:

Shortly after the original distribution announcement in May, beers began showing up on taps in Michigan at bars like Logan's Alley. But the reddit post confirms that the promised store availability has begun its scheduled August rollout.

Three Floyds Brewing is considered one of the best breweries in the world and is currently ranked at #6 on RateBeer.com's 2020 list of top breweries in the world, ahead of all Michigan breweries on the list, including Grand Rapids own Founders Brewing Co. who came in at #7.

Their signature beer, Zombie Dust, currently has a perfect score of 100 on BeerAdvocate.com. The site describes the beer as

As of December 2020, 3 Floyds announced they were permanently closing the Munster brewpub. Curbside pickup of beer and merchandise to go remains available at the brewery.
