The results are in and while some people are celebrating the outcome of yesterday's elections ... others are facing defeat.

In Kent County, voters were asked to approve a transit millage to improve service for The Rapid bus system.

It squeaked by with 136 votes!  Now property owners can expect an average tax increase of $26.25, annually.

Other wins include former GRPS Superintendent Bert Bleke, who will now sit on the GRCC Board of Education along with businessman Richard Stewart.
