Western MI Football Player Shocked With Scholarship

Running Back Trevor Sweeney was fielding a routine kickoff when he noticed a letter bound to the football he recovered.

Sweeney took the letter off, and found it to be a scholarship for a full ride. As he looked up, he noticed that his entire team had surrounded him, to congratulate him on his accomplishment.

Sweeney has always wanted to play for Western ever since he was a young child.

Sweeney starts his Junior year at Western this fall, with his first game this season on September 4th at home against the Michigan State Spartans.
