Why Was The Sky Purple This Morning?

This morning. we got a text from Emily that included a picture of a purple sky.  Emily was driving on M6 and saw the purple light in the sky to the northeast.  She snapped a couple of pictures and then texted into the show when she got to work.

So, what the heck is it?  Is it just the sun coming up and causing the sky to turn purple in the early morning hours?  Is it from an event or business?  Let us know what you think!
