So now that you know the many benefits of a wildflower garden, here’s what you need to get started.
- Edge: You want to create an edge because it can help keep some of the weeds away so they don't compete with your wildflowers. It also can create a dramatic pop and be appealing to the eye.
- Cultivate the Soil: basically you're going to dig up and turn over the soil to loosen it, remove weeds, and help with aeration. It's important that before you put down the wildflower seeds, you prepare a good place for them to grow.
- Rake: The last step before putting down the wildflower seeds is raking the dirt so it's nice and smooth
- Spread The Seeds: You want to spread the wildflower seeds out in different directions to make sure you get full coverage.
- Water: The final thing to do is add a little high quality H20.
