Yep, it's been cold but now the Wind Chill Warning that was in effect has been canceled and replaced with a Winter Storm Warning.

The National Weather Service issued the storm warning to begin at 1am Friday and run through 7am Saturday morning.  They're calling for -20 to -30 wind chills through Friday night, combined with heavy snowfall Friday afternoon through evening.  Snow totals could be 6" at the lakeshore and 3" further inland.

While the wind chills and snow are a concern, the biggest concern lies with strong winds gusting over 40mph.

From their advisory:

DANGEROUS TRAVEL WILL OCCUR FRIDAY. WHITE OUT CONDITIONS WITH LITTLE TO NO VISIBILITY ARE EXPECTED WITH THE WORST CONDITIONS AFTER SUNSET FRIDAY.  BLOWING SNOW WILL COVER TREATED ROADS,ESPECIALLY NORTH TO
SOUTH ROADS IN OPEN AREAS.
