Wisconsin News Anchor Responds On-Air To Email Telling Her She’s Too Fat For TV [Video]

I am so inspired by this video, and this woman. With bullying in the news so much, we tend to think that it only happens between children. But, there is such a thing in the adult world, too, and it happened to news anchor Jennifer Livingston of WKBT in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. A viewer wrote her an email claiming that she was setting a poor example for young people in the community because she is overweight. While Jennifer tried to laugh it off, several other people in the news media could not, including her husband, news anchor Mike Thompson.

Mike posted the letter on his Facebook page, calling it "sick" and "infuriating". That post garnered hundreds of comments of support, and as a result, Livingston decided to address the email on television and speak out about bullying. See what she had to say in the video below.
