Yesterdog Opens Its Doors on Thanksgiving for a Free Community Meal
Thanksgiving is just days away, and for many in West Michigan it's a time to get together and catch up with friends and family.

While together we can cheer on the Detroit Lions and enjoy some tasty food that leaves all of our pants a little bit tighter than when we sat down.
Unfortunately, not everyone is that lucky.
One West Michigan business has announced that they will actually open their doors for a few hours on Thanksgiving and will offer a free meal to those that are alone or simply just need a meal.
Yesterdog To Provide Free Meals On Thanksgiving Day
Yesterdog, which has been an Easttown staple since 1976, shared that they would be offering a free meal to those in need on Thanksgiving.
The holidays are all about community, and we want everyone to have a place at the table.
This year, we’re offering free hot dogs and pumpkin pie from 2-4 p.m. on Thanksgiving to anyone in need of a warm meal or some holiday companionship. No reservations are required, and all are welcome. Those attending can enjoy up to three hot dogs per person, dine-in only
Yesterdog serves up 6 different hot dogs that people will be able to chose from
- Ultradog: Chili, cheese, onion, pickle, ketchup, mustard
- Cheddardog: Chili, cheese
- Yesterdog: Chili, onion, pickle, ketchup, mustard
- Krautdog: Homemade kraut, pickle, mustard
- Veggie: (no dog) Cheese, kraut, onion, pickle, ketchup, mustard
- Plaindog: A dog on a bun (exactly what it sounds like)
I love that Yesterdog is doing this, and I hope other West Michigan business considering doing similar things when they can to help out because the need is definitely there.
