Video Showing Upper Peninsula Man’s Snow Brush Beaver Rescue Is the Most Michigan Thing You’ll See Today
The Upper Peninsula is a special place. The sites, the wildlife, the people, and, let's be honest, all of the snow.

But all of that snow meant that one resourceful Yooper was ready when he saw a beaver wander out onto a busy road recently.
U.P. Man Saves Beaver From Traffic Using Only a Snow Brush
The unexpected rescue mission took place on a busy road in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, recently, and thankfully, much of it was caught on camera. Stephanne SoamiCoolnow Johnson posted the video to Facebook on April 22.
It appears that the rescue occurred near the corner of 3 Mile Rd. and M-129 in Sault Ste. Marie, which locals know is a pretty busy intersection.

In the video, you can see the man, who has not been identified, urging the beaver away from the busy road using his bright yellow snow brush. The beaver doesn't seem too pleased about being herded away, but it was for its own safety.
Stephanne said it best in her caption of the video,
Only in the Upper Peninsula could being late to school and work mean witnessing a man in a full-on showdown with a grown beaver... armed with nothing but a snow brush!!!!
The beaver, while obviously pretty unhappy about the whole ordeal, appears to have made it out of the situation unscathed.
