Zeeland High School And Middle School Students Are Getting iPads

No, Oprah did not visit Zeeland.  Zeeland Public Schools are providing every high school student and high school teacher with an iPad to start the school year.  Eventually middle school students will receive iPads too.

Zeeland Superintendent Dave Barry is in his first year on the job and is leading Zeeland Public Schools on an aggressive technology initiative.  $1.5 million of a $6 million bond will be used to get iPads in the hands of students and teachers.

I remember my first computer class.  We used a Tandy 1000.  My how times have changed.
