    The Saladin Shrine Circus returns to Grand Rapids this weekend at the DeltaPlex. With three rings of affordable family fun, "The Shrine Circus" will thrill fans of all ages.     Taking Place in Downtown Grand Rapids, the Blizzard Bash is West Michigan’s pre-eminent party and fundraiser.  Presented in partnership with Bill and Paul’s Sporthaus, Guests from all over Michigan come together to celebrate the start of the winter season in epic fashion.  All Blizzard Bash proceeds go to adaptive winter sports in West Michigan which allows special needs participants the ability to ski.     Dirty Duel

    The Dirty Duel is the only trail race in the United States that offers racers a choice of courses and is likely the most difficult short trail race in Michigan. Join over 700 racers who will split off right after the start in a dueling dash back to the finish. Will it be the “easier” 6K course that speeds runners to a top finish or the shorter but brutal 5K “trail” that racers survive on their way to victory? Depending on the course chosen, you will face a sand dune, cornfield/maze, and off-trail sections. Donuts or hot applesauce and cider at the bonfire after the race.
