2011 Tax Deadline Extended ‘Til Monday!

The tax deadline this year is officially this coming Monday and for good reason!

The Internal Revenue Service is closed to observe Emancipation Day  (April 16) for the District of Columbia as part of the Emancipation Proclamation, pushing the deadline to the next business day, which happens to be Monday.

If you're still scrambling to pull everything together, and make less than $50,000 a year, there may be a way to get them done at no cost to you.
