A 300-Person Fight Broke Out at Grand Haven State Park on Monday
A fight got so big and out of control at Grand Haven State Park, this past Monday, that officials had to close down the park.
WNEM says that the incident occurred around 7 p.m. on July 3rd when 8 to 10 different fights broke out, which was estimated to be around 300 people.
After not being able to control the chaos, it was decided to close down the park for the rest of the day. Police from Grand Haven and Norton Shores along with the Michigan State Police and deputies from the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department all showed up to help the with settling the situation.
Everyone was off the beach by 10 p.m. and the park re-opened on Tuesday morning as scheduled.
MLive reports that no one was reported hurt or injured.
