A 32-year-old Tennessee woman is facing child neglect charges for making her children walk to school after they missed the bus.  Now, before you go making judgements about the situation, you should know the entire story.

The kids missed the bus and because the mother had a suspended license, she decided to make her kids walk the 3.5 miles to their elementary school.  The mother drove about 50 - 150 feet in front of her children as they walked along the shoulder of a busy road on their way to school.

A driver saw the kids walking unsupervised (or so he thought) and called the police.  When the police arrived they explained to the mother that having her children walk on the shoulder was dangerous and that she needed to drive the kids the rest of the way.  But, police then found out she had a suspended license and she shouldn't have been driving in the first place.  The police then got a hold of the husband to pick up the kids and drive them the rest of the way.  But, when the husband arrived he was armed with a knife and was carrying drug paraphernalia.

Well, that story blew out of proportion really quickly!  At first you're all like "I used to walk to school!" and then you read the rest of the article and you're like "oh...  I see..."  Make your own judgements with this story.
