While construction on the amphitheater hasn't been completed yet, tons of shows are being announced as we get closer to the end of 2025.

The First Concert That Will Be Held at Grand Rapids' Acrisure Amphitheater

Back in November, Acrisure Amphitheater announced its much-anticipated first concert for the venue. For months, fans had wondered which artist or band would take the stage that first night. And now we know.

Lionel Richie will be the first headlining act. He'll be joined by The War & Treaty, a band that got its start in Albion, Michigan, and Grand Rapids' own Brian Vander Ark (of The Verve Pipe).

So far, of all of the acts that have been announced, all but one are musical acts. The genres of these bands and artists range from country to rock, classic rock, pop, hip-hop, and more.
