Did Your Amazon Package Not Arrive This Weekend? This Might Be Why
I don't think a single week goes by in our house where something from Amazon doesn't get dropped off at our front door.
If you were expecting a package that didn't arrive over the weekend this might be the reason why.
A video has been released of an Amazon delivery truck being stolen and taken on a joy ride.
The dash cam video starts out inside of the Amazon delivery truck with the door to the cargo bay open and someone in the bottom center of the screen.
Spoiler alert! It's not the delivery driver.
We then see the person at the bottom of the screen hop into the driver's seat.
As the person in the driver seat stumbles around you can see the Amazon driver in the bottom left of the screen.
The driver then backs away for his own safety and the person takes off in the vehicle.
The driver then accelerates and turns right onto another road.
As he continued going faster he turned the steering wheel back and forth and appeared to lose control due to wet roads from rain.
The driver, who wasn't wearing a seatbelt, was then tossed from his seat and out of the vehicle that was going 31 miles per hour.
The truck then struck something and came to a complete stop.
Several seconds later, you see the joyrider appearing to walk away from the crash and down the sidewalk. Police are still looking for the suspect who they believe is a minor.
