The tornadoes that swept through West Michigan over the weekend had some unexpected victims. While cleaning up damage caused by the storm, West Michigan residents found dozens of baby squirrels tossed from damaged trees. The squirrels were gathered up and brought to the Wildlife Rehab Center to be nursed back to health and reintroduced into the wild.

The thirteen newborn squirrels that were rescued are now in the care of the Wildlife Rehab Center and they are being bottle fed by the volunteers until they are able to eat on their own.

The Wildlife Rehab Center is a non-profit organization, so if you are looking to help, they always are accepting donations and volunteers! You can find out how to help them at their website or call them at 616-361-6109.
