Iconic Michigan Drive-In Serving Up a New ‘Beast’ of a Burger
An iconic burger stand in Michigan's Upper Peninsula is upping its game this season and offering up a "beast" of a burger.
If you're looking for a drive-in burger that's completely out of the ordinary, this seems like it's one that you should try.

Clyde's Drive-In is a staple of the Upper Peninsula. Many know of the one that's located in St. Ignace because they've either seen or been to it when making their way to Mackinac Island.
There's also another location in Sault Ste. Marie that offers a great view of the Soo Locks and the Sugar Island Ferry while you eat your burgers and drink your shakes. (And I just learned that there is a third Clyde's location in Manistique.)
But the St. Ignace Clyde's location is amping things up this season - at least for now.
Clyde's Drive-In in St. Ignace Offers Up the New 'Beast Burger'
Longtime fans of Clyde's know that their burgers are second to none. And the 'Big C' is a favorite among locals and visitors alike.

But the St. Ignace location is offering up a burger this season that sounds like something that every Clyde's fan will HAVE to try.
It's called 'The Beast Burger' and they describe it as, "Waygu [sic], Elk, Bison, and Wild Boar combined together."
How Much Does the Beast Burger at Clyde's Drive-In Cost?
Seems like it would be a pricey burger, but it isn't really.
The Beast Burger starts out at $8 for a basic 1/4 lb. burger with no toppings, with options to add extras (cheese, deluxe, zesty, bacon, etc.) to it for an extra cost to make it your own creation!! Or double it to a 1/2 lb. Burger for $11.50. You could also go all the way and make it a Big C Beast Burger for $14.50!!
The 'Big C', for those unfamiliar, is a 3/4 pound burger (generally available as either a hamburger or a cheeseburger.)

Clyde's says that this (and another new offering, Horchata Bites) is only available for a limited time. So if you want to give it a try, you're going to want to make your way up across the Mackinac Bridge soon.
