This Restaurant Was Just Named the Best in Michigan for Soup

It's cold and snowy outside, so that means it's officially soup girl season.

There are a few places here in West Michigan that I swear by when it comes to getting my soup fix. Any day the weather is cold and wet or snowy, you can catch me at the soup bar at Horrocks or in line at the Uncle Cheetahs Soup Shop on Wealthy street.

While we all have our favorites, there are tons of places offering soup across Michigan since we have the perfect weather for it half of the year.

But where would you go if you want the best soup in the entire mitten? There is one spot that everyone has agreed on...

Who has the best soup in Michigan?

The experts at yelp gathered up the top 50 spots to get soup in America, picking one from each state. They used user created reviews and data to find which soup and spot was the most popular, and the one for Michigan is from a place I've never visited.

As to be expected based on their name, their top rated soup is their Tomato Dill soup, which has users raving about it's unique and delicious taste. The soups they offer are homemade, so they're not like what you might find at chains like Panera and Zoup.

Users agree that the adorable cafe is perfect to stop in to enjoy and sandwich and a bowl, and they also offer other soups if tomato dill isn't your thing.

If you plan to check them out- make sure they're open. They do take the month of January off to rest and recharge (which stinks, because this is perfect soup weather!) but they'll be back before long to serve you up one of the best soups in America.
