What Happens When You Put a Bar of Soap in the Microwave? [Video]

Have you ever wondered what it's like to put a bar of soap in a microwave? I haven't either, until I came across this video on Facebook that Diply posted.

If I was in school I would totally use this as a science experiment but I'm 27 so for now I'll just enjoy the video. And with that being said, I'll let the video explain the science behind it. It's super cool though and the result is one big white fluff.

The video also shows two other experiments... how to light fire with smoke & a DIY lava lamp! Also both very cool. I would recommend trying these out with your kids. It keeps them away from the electronics and gives you the opportunity to spend some time with them :) I don't have kids but I definitely want to try these out!
