A Shocking Discovery: Nearly 40 Dogs Found in Michigan Home During Welfare Check
Detroit police were called to a home on Friday afternoon to conduct a welfare check on a woman who lived there.

During this check, officers made contact with the woman, and she was subsequently sent to the hospital.

However, what the officers discovered during this welfare check was unexpected.
Inside the house, they found 38 dogs. Some were dead, while others that were alive were found in what the officers described as deplorable conditions.
Although details are still emerging, it is believed that all the dogs found inside the home were small breeds.
Even if that's the case, I struggle to imagine how so many dogs could be crammed into one home.
I have two medium-sized dogs, and it often feels like they are always in the way.
It’s presumed that all the dogs belonged to the woman who went to the hospital following the welfare check.
Regardless of whether these dogs were hers or someone else's, they were living in appalling conditions and may face serious consequences.
Hopefully, the rescued dogs will receive the proper care and attention they need.
It is my sincere hope that they will be put up for adoption and find forever homes with families who will love and care for them properly.
