‘Empty the Shelters’ is this Saturday! Adopt a Pet for Less!

Empty the Shelters is basically the equivalent of Christmas because dogs and cats at shelters around the state are all up for adoption at a reduced rate thanks to BISSELL Pet Foundation

Empty the Shelters will be Saturday, May 4th at 110 shelters in 20 states including Michigan. People will be able to stop at their local shelter and adopt a pet for only $25. The remaining cost will be covered by BISSELL. You will be responsible for dog licenses. The following shelters in West Michigan will be participating:

• Kent County Animal Shelter - Grand Rapids
• Crash's landing - Grand Rapids
• Family Paws Rescue - Grand Rapids
• Cannonsville Critters - Greenville
• Harbor Humane Society - West Olive
• Wishbone Rescue Pet Alliance - Allegan

• Cober's Canine Rescue - Muskegon
• Faithful to Felines - Muskegon
• Pound Buddies Animal Shelter - Muskegon
• The Muskegon Humane Society - Muskegon

• Ionia County Animal Shelter - Ionia
• SPCA of Southwest Michigan - Kalamazoo
• Kalamazoo Animal Rescue - Kalamazoo
• Al-Van Humane Society - South Haven
