Frederik Meijer Gardens Announces First Three Acts For Summer Concert Series

Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park has announced the first three acts that will be performing at this year’s outdoor summer concert series.

Needtobreathe, an alternative Christian rock band, will take the stage at Meijer Gardens on June 21.

Jennifer Nettles, who has embarked on a solo career after spending a few years as the lead singer of Sugarland, will be playing on July 19.

And KC & The Sunshine Band will take the stage at Frederik Meijer Gardens on July 24th.

The complete lineup for the concert series, now named the Fifth Third Bank Summer Concerts at Meijer Gardens, will be announced in mid-April.

The concert series will begin June 1 and run until  Aug. 31 at the Meijer Gardens amphitheater.

Members of Meijer Gardens will be able to purchase tickets during a members only presale from April 26 through May 9. During that pre-sale, members also receive a $5 discount per ticket. To become a member or renew your membership before April 26, visit the Meijer Gardens website.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on May 10.
