Free Help With Taxes for People Who Make $54,000 or Less
Free tax help is available in West Michigan for anyone who makes $54,000 or less.
Free help is also being offered to anyone who has a disability or considers English their second language.
Grand Valley State University is one of several host sites for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program through United Way which offers free tax return preparation and filing to those who qualify.
The program provides IRS-certified volunteers. The volunteers at GVSU will be assisted by GVSU faculty members and students at the L. William Seidman Center on the Pew Grand Rapids Campus on several Saturdays through April.
