Big news for fans of Bobcat Bonnie’s in Grand Rapids: the local favorite known for its build-your-own Bloody Mary bar, creative comfort food, and cozy vibe is moving downtown! Starting mid-January, you’ll find Bobcat Bonnie’s in a fresh new space right in the heart of Grand Rapids.

While the move is exciting, I have to admit—I’m a little bummed about the change. The Breton Village location had plenty of free parking, which made meeting up with friends for brunch or grabbing a quick dinner hassle-free. With the downtown move, parking will require some extra planning (and maybe a few quarters or the MOTU app).

That said, there’s a lot to love about them moving downtown. They haven't announced the exactly locations- but no matter where they land, it’ll be another option to enjoy when you're downtown to see an event at Van Andel Arena and The Intersection, making it the perfect pre-show dinner spot.

Imagine kicking off your evening with their famous black bean avocado burger or a plate of their crispy Brussels sprouts before heading to a concert or hockey game—it doesn’t get much better than that!

According to their announcement, The team at Bobcat Bonnie’s is taking a well-deserved holiday break before they reopen, and I can’t wait to see what fun updates the new space will bring. While I’ll miss the Breton Village vibe, I’m excited to support this beloved spot in its new downtown home. Stay tuned for more details—and get ready to make some new memories with a killer cocktail in hand!
