Jeffree Star Visits Grand Rapids and Social Media Takes Notice

Makeup artist and social media personality Jeffree Star may currently live in Casper, Wyoming, but there’s a chance you may have run into him in Wyoming, Michigan over the weekend too.

For anyone who has lived in Grand Rapids for the past decade, there was a time when running into one of the original MySpace stars wasn’t a strange thing. For years, Star dated a man named Nate who was from the area and moved here to live closer to him.

Frequently, people spotted him and his infamous Lamborghini around West Michigan. Let’s be honest, it’s not hard to spot his car since it’s definitely a 1/1 in the area.

And it feels like everyone has a story of seeing him out somewhere:

But a few tiktoks and social media posts from over the weekend claim that he’s back in Grand Rapids.

Why is Jeffree Star back in Grand Rapids?

No one is sure, but this woman says she’s a door dasher and spotted him at the BJ’s on 28th street over the weekend. (Warning: her video features NSFW language)

Opinions are mixed on whether people are excited or annoyed by his appearances in town over the weekend:

People in the comments say they saw him at Meijer on Alpine and at “the mall” (not sure which one). I also saw in his story that he went to see Marilyn Manson this weekend, who kicked off his tour at 20 Monroe on Friday night.

So why was he here? According to his recent Instagram stories posted to reels, he was here to celebrate May the 4th, see friends, and again likely to see that concert.
