Grand Rapids PD Challenges Lansing PD for Ronald McDonald House
Grand Rapids Police Department helped raise money and awareness for the Ronald McDonald House, Friday.
They posted on their Facebook page, a video showing officers and other staff wearing the red Ronald McDonald gloves which you can get a McDonald’s for $5, to help raise money for the Ronald McDonald Houses of Michigan. Quite a few members of the GRPD were sporting the gloves! They also challenged the Lansing Police Department to take the mitten challenge. Is that a thing? Or did I just help RMH with a cool marketing ploy? #RMHMITTENCHALLENGE
Back to the real story, you can find out more about how awesome the Ronald McDonald House is for families with a child in the hospital and how to get your gloves and help, HERE.
As the chief said, they helped over 3,000 families last year alone.
