Grand Rapids Police are looking for some help in finding a bank robbery suspect from Monday afternoon.
Police posted on Facebook that the bank robbery happened Monday afternoon around 4:55 pm on Grand Rapids’ southeast side, on Breton Rd, around the 1900 block.
The suspect is described by police as a Black male, around 5’8” with a medium build. As you can see in the picture provided by GRPD the suspect was wearing a “black and subdued camouflage Members’ Only jacket" with blue jeans, white shoes, and red gloves.
Police say the suspect entered the bank and demanded money, while only implying he had a weapon. He then fled the bank location on foot. GRPD tried to track the suspect down using a K9 but were unsuccessful.
If you recognize the suspect or can help police in any way, call GRPD Detectives at 616-456-3380 or anonymously through Silent Observer online or 616-774-2345.
