GVMC Wants To Know What You Hate About Going To Gerald R Ford International Airport
It's not a stretch to say that we all love traveling out of town and going on vacation. There is nothing better than seeing new faces, new places, and new spaces. But let's be honest... the worst part of traveling, is the actual traveling.
So, if you frequently fly out of Grand Rapids you may have a strong opinion about our own Gerald R. Ford International Airport. Instead of shouting it into the void or sub tweeting, GVMC is asking for your opinion.
Do you want more parking options? Maybe cheaper parking? Sick of the weird signs that don't tell you which direction you should be going until the last second? Want more art on your drive in? You can sound off during the phase 2 airport access study.
According to their website, "The study will examine current transportation needs and changing travel patterns including airport passenger and cargo traffic, road connections and access, traffic operations and safety, bike and pedestrian circulation, transit service, railroad connections, airport security, and terminal access redundancy. The study will evaluate different airport access alternatives, leading to a recommended alternative (or alternatives) and an accompanying implementation and action plan."
Your opinion could also be worth a little extra cash- They'll be giving $50 to 2 participants. So giving your two cents could net you a cool Grant.
If you're interested in participating, you can visit the survey directly here, or you can visit their website to learn more about why they're doing this and what they're looking for.
