‘Hatatouille 2011′ Coming to Ada Farmers Market

No, you cannot get Hatatouille through your soon to be overpriced Netflix account.  It's not a movie.  Hatatouille 2011 is the Ada Farmers Market's hat designing competition.

Nearly 25 vendors will participate in the competition by designing hats inspired by what they sell.  The hats will be on display on two consecutive Tuesdays from noon until 6pm, July 26 and August 2.  The winner will be chosen by the votes of farmers market customers on August 2.

Bob Kullgren, Market Master of the Ada Farmers Market says:

This is likely the only competition of its kind in the world.  Vendors have promised to put hats seen at both the Royal Wedding and the Kentucky Derby to shame.

I don't think it will take much to put this Royal Wedding hat to shame.  It already shamed itself.

The Ada Farmers Market is open Tuesdays, June 21 through September 27, from noon until 6pm.  The winner of Hatatouille 2011 will be announced at the Ada Farmers Market on August 9.
