80 ice sculptures will soon take over Downtown Grand Rapids. Valent-ICE Sculpture Gallery is bringing the cold event back in February 2021. The sculptures will total more than 17 tons of ice.

Event organizers are asking for your help selecting the centerpiece large ice sculpture. 5,000 pounds of ice are used to create the focal point. The design options are:

  • Carousel
  • Love in Sign Language
  • Scuba Diver
  • Train
  • Wooly Mammoth

Food Network’s Ice Guru Randy Finch will be on hand to tally the votes. The piece will be selected by popular vote. If you'd like to add your input, VOTE HERE!

The outdoor event will be held at Rosa Parks Circle on February 12-14 with the ICE-Breaker event, where the live carving of the largest ice sculpture takes place, is at 12 p.m. on Feb. 13.
