Not all Irish bars are created equal, but the good ones are going to have most, if not all, of these things for you to enjoy. First off, an Irish bar must have fresh Guinness on tap, and the bar staff needs to know how to properly pour a pint.

A good Irish bar will also have other popular Irish beers on tap, such as Harp Lager and Smithwick's. Of course, they also need to have a good selection of Irish whiskey.

And you can't forget the food to go along with your drink. A good Irish bar has to serve up some classic, hearty Irish dishes such as Bangers & Mash, Shepherd's Pie, and Irish Stew.
