Detroit Lions Jared Goff Stars in New ‘Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F’ Promo

With the NFL draft in Detroit this week, there's LOTS for Lions fans to be excited about. Well, add this to the list. Lions quarterback Jared Goff stars in a funny new promo for the upcoming Eddie Murphy movie "Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F".

The premise of the video is that Eddie Murphy's character Axel Foley gave Goff some pointers on adjusting when he moved from the L.A. Rams to Detroit.

Goff says that he turned to Foley because of his knowledge of both places. Some of the things Foley teaches Goff? How to talk to new teammates, how to reconnect with old friends, being spontaneous, also - more cursing is necessary.

Which, heads up, this video is FULL of F-bombs. 

The biggest lesson the QB learned from Foley though? Ignore the critics because, "guys like us, we get the last laugh."

It's been 30 years since the last Beverly Hills cop movie! According to IMDB, In this fourth film, Foley returns to Beverly Hills. After his daughter’s life is threatened, she (Taylour Paige) and Foley team up with a new partner (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and old friends Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and John Taggart (John Ashton) to "turn up the heat and uncover a conspiracy."

"Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F" airs on Netflix July 3. At this point it's unrated... but yeah, it's not going to be rated "G"...
