
Revisiting The Original Logos of Michigan’s Most Well Known Businesses
A while ago, I wrote about Meijer's curious 20-year logo-change trend that may or may not be a coincidence. As I was re-reading it, I got to wondering about other businesses whose logos have changed over the years.

From small businesses to businesses with locations around the world, West Michigan offers plenty of options with rich histories. As a 1999 kid, I've seen many of these brands do throwback logos or merch lines that utilize the logos that got their businesses off the ground way back when.

Some companies have departed significantly from their original designs, while some have made slight alterations. But then there are some that are so drastically different you would never have guessed they were from the same company (these are my personal favorites).

So today we're taking a stroll down memory lane and revisiting the logos generations grew up loving, or maybe you're seeing it for the first time. Companies like Meijer, Gordon Food Services, Steelcase, and the motor companies Ford and GM, among others, have seen multiple iterations of their timeless logos.
