Score Huge Discounts on Kids’ Gear in West Michigan This Week
There’s nothing quite like watching your little one grow—except maybe the challenge of keeping up with how fast they outgrow everything! As a mom on a budget, I’m always looking for ways to get quality clothes, toys, and gear without breaking the bank.
That’s why Parents you NEED to be aware of the Just Between Friends (JBF) Spring Event, which is a massive pop-up consignment sale happening this week (March 12-15, 2025) at the former Art Van building on Alpine in Comstock Park (4273 Alpine Ave NW).

This isn’t just any sale, it’s a full goldmine for parents like me who want to save 50-90% off retail on everything from kids clothes to books, baby gear, and even furniture and outdoor toys. They have a massive selection of all types of items, so if it’s on your list: there’s a great chance they have it.
It’s not just about the savings though. After all buying secondhand isn’t just easy on the wallet, it’s also great for the planet. Giving pre-loved items a second life keeps them out of landfills and reduces waste/ That makes me feel even better about my shopping spree, if the money I saved isn’t enough.
The public sale kicks off this Wednesday, March 12, with doors opening at 9 AM to 8 PM. There’s a $3 admission fee on Wednesday, but you can grab a free ticket online. If you can’t make it on day one, don’t worry: Thursday is free admission, and Friday and Saturday are discount days, where you can score even bigger deals on their remaining selection of items!
And parents, here is my Pro tip: Bring a wagon or big bags to carry all your finds. Plus, there are some fun extras this year—like a teen thrifting night on Wednesday, a Kids Creative Market on Saturday morning, and even a chance to see Laura from Mix 95.7 at the sale on Wednesday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
If you’re looking to save big on great finds for your kids, this is the event you don’t want to miss. I’ll be there bright and early (hope to see you digging for deals, too!)
