Jimmy Fallon has been killing it in the late night slot. It was recently announced that NBC renewed his contract through 2021. He's doing so well that Universal Studios, in Orlando, is adding a ride in honor of the talk show host. A RIDE!

Fallon made the announcement on his show last week and said the new ride will be called Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon. It is slated to open in 2017. There's not much details on the ride itself except Fallon compared it to the likes of Harry Potter. The Twister ride has closed to make way for Fallon's.

According to Tampa Bay Times,

Theme park designers said they looked to the Tonight Show's history of pitting its host against celebrity guests in contests and games for the ride inspiration.

Watch Fallon's announcement below.

In addition to the Jimmy Fallon ride, Universal Studios is also planning on opening Skull Island: Reign of Kong in the summer of 2016; Fast & Furious: Supercharged in 2017 which will offer more than the California version; and Volcano Bay a water theme park also scheduled to open in 2017. And for all of us throwback kids, a Nintendo theme park will come to life, which is currently in the planning process.

I think a trip to Orlando needs to be in the works for 2017.
