Less Than Jake Dedicates Rest Of Tour To Grand Rapids Man
One of the best things about seeing one of your favorite bands live, is hearing those lyrics that really hit you the hardest.
"So I'll let you know, If you need somewhere to go
I'll be listening when you call, And I'll be there if you fall off
If you need someone to believe in you, I'll let you know I will"
These lyrics from Ska/Punk band Less Than Jake feel a little more fitting after their appearance at The Intersection on Tuesday, March 26th. According to a post on Greater Grand Rapids Scanner Calls, around 10:37pm a man who was at the Intersection to enjoy a great night, had a medical emergency.

Despite attempts from staff and fellow concert go-ers, the unnamed man passed away before emergency responders arrived on the scene. This experience has weighed heavy on those who were attending the show, as well as Less Than Jake who posted a tribute to the man on social media.
We are heartbroken to hear of a fan passing at our show last night in Grand Rapids due to a medical emergency.
On behalf of us, our road crew and team, we want to express our deepest sympathies, especially to the family members.
After much soul searching, we decided we will finish the final three dates of the “Return To Rockview” tour in honor of him. We appreciate your support and understanding during this impossible moment in our history.
While emergencies can happen at any time, and any place, it's still heartbreaking to know this person went to have a great night at one of Grand Rapid's most iconic music venues, only to not make it to the end of the show. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and loved ones after this unpredictable tragedy.
