Lifetime Developing TV Movie on Flint Water Crisis
The Flint water crisis has been the topic of conversation, all around America, for several months now, so it's no surprise that it's going to be turned into a movie.
WZZM reports that Flint will be an original movie aired on the Lifetime network. The film will focus on the events that led to the poisoning of the water and affected Flint residents.
The movie was inspired by the Time Magazine article "The Poisoning of an American City."
Flint will be developed by Sony Pictures producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.
There is no word on when the movie is expected to air but it's been put on "fast track."
