MDOT Announces Lane Closures for WB I-96 Monday

MDOT is announcing a lane and ramp closure for Monday along westbound I-96.

Road crews will be working and closing lanes Monday during the day along westbound I-96 from M-21 (Fulton Street) to Leonard Street.  MDOT says the lane closures will only be from 9 am to 3 pm, but they’ve had some issues the last few days reopening on time.

During the lane closures, the following ramps will also be closed:

-Ramp from westbound M-21 to westbound I-96

-Ramp from northbound East Beltline Avenue to westbound I-96

The road work is only scheduled for Monday but is also weather dependent.
