
Michigan Residents Warned: Popular Bratwurst Recall Spreads Across State
Before you get ready to fire up the grill and put on some tasty brats you should first check your fridge to make sure you don't any that are currently being recalled.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service has put out a recall for a popular brand of brats after receiving several complaints from customers.

These customer claim that they found pieces of hard plastic inside their brats.
22,000 pounds of Johnsonville bratwursts Recalled
According to the USDA they have issued a recall on nearly 22,000lbs of Johnsonville brand cheddar bratwurst.

The affected brats were produced on Feb. 5th, 2025 and are in a 19-ounce, sealed firm tray packages containing five pieces of Johnsonville BRATS CHEDDAR Bratwurst.
The package should also have code B9FOD found on the label.
Where The Recalled Brats Were Sold
The recalled brats were sent to retailers in the following states:
- Georgia
- Indiana
- Kansas
- Kentucky
- Michigan
- Minnesota
- Ohio
- Tennessee
- Virginia
- Wisconsin
If you have any of the recalled brats don't consumer them.

You can either throw them away or return them to where they were bought.
