Michigan Dance Team Gets Over A Million Views & Shout Outs From Pitbull & Rockettes
The John Glenn High School Varsity Dance Team not only took first place in a Saginaw dance competition but their 'Mr. Worldwide' inspired routine got the attention of Pitbull himself.
The school's varsity dance team was competing in the Hip Hop & High Kick division when they busted out a Pitbull inspired routine featuring a medley of the Miami performer's hits.
But that wasn't the part everyone was talking about, it was what the girls were decked out in that grabbed everyone's attention.
The dancers, competing at the Mid-American Pompon championship, were decked out in sleek white suit jackets, black ties, sunglasses, and even bald caps in tribute to Pitbull.
The singer took notice after the video went viral and reposted, giving the girls a shout out and signing off with his trademark 'Dale':
The most good ones! Truly honored. 🔥☄️🌎.
Congratulations to the John Glenn Varsity Dance team from Bay City, Michigan on placing first in the MidAmerican Championship High Kick division. Dale!
The girls even got the attention of the world-famous Radio City Rockettes who commented on the original Tik Tok video:
Who knew Mr. Worldwide had a great eye high kick??
While the video had over a million views on TikTok before Pitbull's post, his video has now gotten the Bay City dancers nearly 250k more views and counting on his Facebook page.
So now that these girls have set the table, which celebrity do you think should be featured in their next routine?
