A man's family wants to warn the public about the dangers of Craigslist.

FOX 2 Detroit reports that a 49-year-old man from Farmington Hills was shot and killed last Wednesday after responding to a Craigslist ad to fix up an old bike or moped. The victim made the stop in Inkster during his lunch break from work.

The man was shot in the back while there. It is assumed to be a robbery.

The suspect was identified, arrested and charged with homicide, armed robbery and felony firearms. Police say the suspect could be connected to two similar crimes that occurred earlier this year, in the same neighborhood.
